Lore Compliance
Due to Final Fantasy XIV's Unreliable Narrator Syndrome, this player engages in "lore plausible" roleplay. This is roleplay that adheres to "concrete" lore first, tries to avoid conflicting with "fuzzy" lore second, and then fills in gaps with whatever seems reasonable and artistically appropriate.
"Concrete Lore" is lore directly observable in the story and cutscenes. "Fuzzy Lore" is anything conveyed through NPCs and in-setting items (including the Encyclopedia Eorzea). Widely-accepted fanon is also often adhered to.
Notice: This character uses inspiration and elements taken directly from the settings and stories of various video games. However, attempts have been made to adjust the character to be appropriate for the FFXIV setting. They're not great attempts, but they are attempts.
